Ghanaians should understand Electronic Transaction Act- Dr. Francis Appiah

 The head of the public law department, faculty of law at UPSA, Dr. Francis Akwesi Appiah says, Ghanaians should understand Electronic Transaction Act and Consumer Protection Law.

According to Dr. Francis Akwesi Appiah, he noted that, if Ghanaians understand and have knowledge of this law will help protect them.

Speaking with the media explained that, " Electronic Transaction Act means, a buyer can return purchased goods to the seller. The seller should also tell the buyer terms and conditions of the business".

" Social media is also another way for business transactions and the parties should better package the product with good prices", he stated.

He stressed that buying from the internet is an electronic transaction and care must be taken to the Electronic Transaction Act.
