Government is not ready to construct LA general hospital - Jeffrey Tetteh.

The spokesperson of the Coalition of LA association in the Greater Accra region, Jeffrey Tetteh says, the government is not ready to reconstruct LA General Hospital.

According to Jeffrey Tetteh, since the demolition of the hospital, the government has not made any attempt to build the health center.

Mr. Jeffrey Tetteh continued that, the coalition asked the Ministry of Health, "What is the state of LA General Hospital", but the minister said, the work was progressing speedily. "I drove to the site to check but the site was very bushes with the hip of gravels".

"MP for Ledzokuku constituency, Hon. Benjamin Ayiku Narteh asked on the floor of Parliament, what is the state of the hospital, and the health minister told her that, they are working on an insurance package for the construction", he stressed.

"When we asked the health minister for the third time, he said, they were testing the soil before they can construct the hospital", he explained.

Mr. Tetteh emphasized that the coalition has asked the government several times but there is nothing good out of it, so the government should allow them to the hospital.
