GPRTU Appraise IGP - George Mens

 The secretary for the Ghana Private Road Transport Union(GPRTU) branch at Bono East region, Mr. George Kyere Mens has shown gratitude and appraisal to the Inspector General of Police for good security operation to calm recent crime in the region.

The IGP Dr. George Akuffo Dampare has deployed more personnel to the region to ensure that, criminal activities come under control.

The recent criminal activities such as road robbery, stealing, and other attacks leading to fear and panic on Bono to Ashanti Road have been controlled by IGP.

Mr. George Kyere speaking with the media said," Thanks be to IGP for the effective operation of security to enhance protection of the travelers, businesses, drivers, and the people of Bono region for deploying men on guard".

"Now robbery and other criminal activities have reduced, drivers and travelers are safe on the journey because police are always on the road', he stated.

Finally, Mr. George Kyere appealed to the road minister to put Bono region deployable roads into consideration to make transport easier.
