2024 Polls: Mahama Vows Vigilance, Declares "No More Supreme Court".

Former President John Dramani Mahama, flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has made a bold statement for the upcoming 2024 elections: "The 2024 polls will be decided at the polling stations, not the Supreme Court."

Addressing party supporters on his "Building Ghana We Want Tour" in Dzodze, Volta Region, Mahama expressed unwavering confidence in securing victory at the polls next December. He vowed to ensure the will of the Ghanaian people is respected, eliminating any need for legal challenges in the courts.

"I'm not going to the Supreme Court because I know I'm not going to lose," Mahama declared. "Maybe that person will be going to the Supreme Court. The election will be decided at the polling station and the collation center, and that's where the NDC will be."

He urged NDC members to remain vigilant during the electoral process, emphasizing the importance of collaborative efforts to secure victory. "We won't go to the Supreme Court again because we know we won't get justice," Mahama added. "We are going to police this election and it is going to be the best policed election in the history of Ghana. We will follow the results every step of the way until the final result is declared."

Mahama's statement marks a significant escalation in the political rhetoric leading up to the 2024 elections. While his confidence in victory resonates with NDC supporters, his criticism of the judiciary could raise concerns about potential tensions and challenges to the electoral process.
