Kade Makes History: Gifty Obeyaa Asare Becomes First Woman NPP Parliamentary Aspirant for the Constituency.

Gifty Obeyaa Asare has successfully passed the vetting process to become the New Patriotic Party's (NPP) parliamentary candidate for the Kade constituency in the Eastern region. 

This marks a significant milestone, making her the first woman to seek this position since 1992.

Ms. Asare, a passionate advocate for her community, addressed the media after her vetting, outlining her vision for the constituency. She acknowledged the major occupations of women in Kade as trading and farming and pledged to champion their economic empowerment by lobbying the government for Micro, Small, and Medium-sized Loans (MASLOC) opportunities.
