The Ghana Meteorological Agency (GMet) has issued a 24-hour weather forecast for Ghana, valid from 6 a.m. today, January 11, 2024.


The forecast predicts mist or fog patches over mountainous and forest areas in the early morning hours. However, there is a 30% chance of slight to moderate rains over a few areas along the coast. Sunny conditions are expected over southern Ghana in the afternoon, with a chance of localized thunderstorms or rains over the western coast and some parts of the middle sector later in the day and into the evening. Hazy conditions are expected over the northern half of the country throughout the forecast period, with visibility ranging from 5km to 9km.
