The Ghana Meteorological Agency has issued a 24-hour weather forecast for the country, valid from 6am on Friday, 12 January 2024.
Dry and hazy conditions are expected across the northern and transition belts of the country today with visibility ranging from 3km-8km. However, there are few chances of thunderstorms or rains along the coastline and the middle sector later in the day. Early morning fog or misty patches are anticipated over mountainous, parts of the coastal and forest zones.

The Ghana Meteorological Agency advises the public to take precautionary measures against the hot weather conditions, such as drinking plenty of fluids and avoiding strenuous activity during the hottest part of the day.
