Ghanaian Residential Electricity Costs See Slight Reduction
The Public Utilities Regulatory Commission (PURC) has announced adjustments to electricity tariffs.
Residential consumers using over 301 kWh will see a decrease of 6.56%.
Consumers using between 0-300 kWh, including lifeline consumers (0-30kWh), will see no change in their electricity rates.
Non-residential consumers within the 0-300kWh range will also see no change in their rates, while those using over 301 kWh will experience an average reduction of 4.98%.
Water tariffs remain unchanged across all customer classes.
