182 New Lawyers Called to the Bar, Gifty Afenyi Dadzie and Ama Governor Among Inductees


 The legal profession in Ghana has welcomed 182 new lawyers, including media personality Gifty Afenyi Dadzie and social media influencer Ama Governor, in a ceremony held at the Supreme Court.

Gifty Afenyi Dadzie, a former President of the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA), expressed her gratitude and dedication to using her newfound knowledge to contribute to Ghana's democracy. Ama Governor, who had previously been denied entry to the bar due to concerns about her conduct, was also among the inductees.



Chief Justice Gertrude Torkornoo led the new lawyers in taking the oath of the legal profession and urged them to uphold the highest standards of integrity and excellence. She emphasized the importance of hard work and seeking assistance when needed to deliver quality justice

The ceremony was attended by dignitaries, including the Deputy Attorney-General and Minister of Justice, Diana Asonaba Dapaah, and the President of the Ghana Bar Association, Yaw Acheampong Boafo.
