Akufo-Addo Urges New Ministers to Declare Assets Promptly_

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has emphasized the importance of asset declaration to new ministers, reminding them that their role is to provide public service, not personal gain.

During their swearing-in ceremony at the Jubilee House, the President stressed that their integrity and conduct will significantly impact the success of the government and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the upcoming December 2024 elections.

Akufo-Addo expressed confidence in the new ministers, despite their limited tenure of seven months, which ends on January 7, 2025. He encouraged them to file their asset declarations promptly and maintain a high level of integrity in their public dealings, conduct, and decision-making.
