NPP Member Describes Party as "Mentally Distressed" Amidst Recent Tragedies_

Dr. Ezekiel Agyekum-Obeng, a member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) communication team, has expressed concern about the party's mental well-being, describing it as "mentally distressed".

This comes after a series of recent tragedies, including the untimely deaths of Wofa Kwabena Kwakye and former NPP MP John Kumah, as well as a fatal accident involving the presidential convoy on the Accra-Kumasi highway.

Speaking on Peace FM's "Kokrokoo" morning show, Dr. Agyekum-Obeng emphasized the need for psychotherapy for the accident victims and the entire party. He stated, "As a party, mentally, we are distressed. If you look at these key personalities and coming from our brother, the late John Kumah's funeral to meet another accident, as a party, we are in somehow difficult times."

This candid admission highlights the emotional toll of recent events on the NPP and the importance of mental health support during challenging times.
