President Mahama Reassigns Adjoa Obuobia Darko-Opoku to Lead Ghana Medical Trust Fund Secretariat

ACCRA, GHANA – In a move aimed at bolstering the leadership of key national institutions, President John Dramani Mahama has reassigned Adjoa Obuobia Darko-Opoku to a new role. Formerly with the Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL), Darko-Opoku will now head the Ghana Medical Trust Fund Secretariat.


The reassignment, effective July 31, 2025, positions Darko-Opoku at the helm of the secretariat responsible for managing and overseeing the Ghana Medical Trust Fund. The fund is a crucial resource dedicated to supporting healthcare initiatives and improving medical services across the country.
