✝️ Amasaman: Victory Congregation Hears Powerful Sermon on the Signs of the End Times

ADJEIMAN, AMASAMAN (Ga West Municipal) – Members of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Victory Congregation, gathered today to receive a sobering and instructive message on the signs of the end times, delivered by Catechist Edward Baadu Darko.

Focus on Matthew 24: Prophecies Unveiled

Catechist Baadu Darko centered his message on the prophetic words of Jesus Christ, beginning with the scripture passage of Matthew 24:1 and onwards.

The passage, which records Jesus' response to His disciples' question about the destruction of the temple and the sign of His coming, formed the foundation for a timely reflection. Catechist Baadu Darko meticulously broke down the key indicators mentioned in the Bible, linking them to current global and societal trends.

Key Signs Emphasized

The Catechist emphasized the importance of spiritual preparedness in light of the unfolding prophecies. Among the signs discussed from Matthew 24 were:

 * False Christs and False Prophets: The rise of individuals claiming divine authority, misleading many believers.

 * Wars and Rumors of Wars: Stressing that while these events are inevitable, they are only the "beginning of birth pains."

 * Famines, Pestilences, and Earthquakes: Highlighting the increase in natural disasters and global crises as part of the prophetic timeline.

 * Persecution of Believers: Warning members to remain steadfast in their faith, as Jesus foretold His followers would be hated for His name's sake.

A Call to Watchfulness

Catechist Baadu Darko concluded the sermon with a powerful call to watchfulness, repentance, and dedication. He stressed that while the timing of Christ’s return is unknown, the mandate for Christians is clear: to remain vigilant, commit to holiness, and actively engage in evangelism until the very end. The service reinforced the congregation's resolve to live lives dedicated to Christ, ensuring they are found ready when He appears.
