Galamsey Is a Destructive Human Mindset, Not Just an Environmental Issue — RTD Cat. John Wilson Botwe.

Retired Catechist (RTD Cat.) John Wilson Kwaku Botwe of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana in the Swedru North District, Central Region, has declared that galamsey is not merely an environmental issue, but a destructive mindset living inside human beings.

Speaking on the theme "Nature, Life's Source for All Inhabitants (The Galamsey Menace)," RTD Cat. Botwe stated that illegal mining is the physical result of corrupt human thoughts, cheating, greed, self-interest, bad behavior, wrong actions, and self-destructive lifestyles directed against one another which do not comply with the fellowship of God.

He emphasized that real solutions require more than physical enforcement; they demand a total change of heart and mindset, urging citizens and leaders to reject these harmful behaviors to protect nature and humanity.
