Passengers Clash with Driver and Mate over Excessive Fares_

A tense confrontation erupted between passengers and a driver and his mate on a route from Amasaman to Accra, nearly escalating into physical violence.

The passengers alleged that the mate was deliberately charging excessive fares, sparking outrage among the travelers.

According to the passengers, the standard fares for the route are: GHC 8 from Amasaman to Accra, GHC 7 to Circle, and GHC 6.50 to (Car Price).

However, the mate was allegedly charging more than expected, prompting the passengers to confront him.

"The mate intentionally knew the fares and was taking more than expected," some passengers claimed.
